Way to go, Gene. Will you tell Benedict XVI or shall I?
I'm not a betting man, but if I had to lay odds between the future of the Catholic church and that of ECUSA, I wouldn't be favoring the latter.

Not just an opinion Paul M.
Faiths that ordain homosexuals have no future. Witness the Anglican and United church - both on a downward trajectory since forever. These churches do not grow - they wither. Prime real estate though - in great locations. These churches will live off sales and become clubs for the grey hairs till they die off.
In contrast to evangelical faiths a la Baptist churches and Catholic - always growing. You can look it up if so inclined. If you stand for nothing you fall for everything.
