There is no way that immediate supervisors did not know about what she was going to do. They would have had to approve it and probably even they had to obtain permission from higher up. The problem is not with her, it is with the CBC. Who did she report to and what does he/she know about about this mess and so forth up the line. Her not being fired outright suggests that there is more there than CBC has admitted.
