All over the world, journalists, pundits, spin doctors and pseuds of all stripes are taking out an onion, wringing hands and competing for the most pretentious, most 'me me me' piece on the death of some potheaded peacenik doggerel poet. Is it any wonder we're in the mess we're in with the boomer generation in their last gasp of power?
